Reuters reported, citing informed intelligence sources, that as the first month of the war comes to an end, the United States can only say with certainty that about one-third of Iran's vast missile and drone arsenal has been destroyed.

According to this assessment, the status of another third of these weapons is unclear; although it is likely that they have been buried under rubble or in underground tunnels following the bombings.

The report indicates that Tehran still possesses a significant inventory and may recover some of its damaged or buried weapons after the fighting stops.

In a press conference on Thursday, Trump expressed concern about the threat posed by the remaining one percent of Iran's weapons to the security of the Strait of Hormuz, stating, "Even if we take out 99 percent of the missiles, that remaining 1 percent is enough and unacceptable to damage a billion-dollar ship."

In this context, Reuters has reported that Trump is considering the option of deploying ground forces to the shores of Iran for complete control of the area.

ترامپ در نشست خبری روز پنجشنبه، با ابراز نگرانی از تهدید یک درصد باقی‌مانده تسلیحات ایران برای امنیت تنگه هرمز، گفت: «اگر ۹۹ درصد موشک‌ها را هم بزنیم، همان ۱ درصد باقی‌مانده برای آسیب زدن به یک کشتی میلیارد دلاری کافی و غیرقابل قبول است.»
در همین راستا، رویترز گزارش داده که ترامپ در حال بررسی گزینه اعزام نیروی زمینی به سواحل ایران برای کنترل کامل منطقه است.
