According to Reuters, Steve Witkoff, special envoy of Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced on Friday, March 27, that Washington hopes to hold meetings with Iran in the coming days.

Speaking at an investment conference in Miami, Florida, he added: "We believe meetings will take place this week, and we are optimistic about it."

Witkoff also emphasized that a "15-point agreement" is on the table, which has recently been presented to Iran, and the U.S. is now awaiting Tehran's response. According to him, this agreement could lead to a complete resolution of issues between the two sides.

He stated that this plan includes topics such as halting enrichment, transferring enriched uranium reserves, which he claims have reached about 10,000 kilograms, and also international oversight, and it could fully resolve the differences.

به گزارش رویترز، استیو ویتکاف، فرستاده ویژه دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌ جمهوری ایالات متحده، روز جمعه، هفتم فروردین‌ماه، اعلام کرد واشنگتن امیدوار است ظرف چند روز آینده با ایران دیدارهایی برگزار کند.

او که در یک نشست سرمایه‌گذاری در میامیِ ایالت فلوریدا سخن می‌گفت، افزود: «ما معتقدیم این هفته جلساتی برگزار خواهد شد و نسبت به آن خوش‌بین هستیم.»

ویتکاف همچنین تاکید کرد یک «توافق ۱۵ بندی» روی میز قرار دارد که به‌تازگی در اختیار ایران گذاشته شده و آمریکا اکنون در انتظار پاسخ تهران است. به گفته او، این توافق می‌تواند به حل کامل مسائل میان دو طرف منجر شود.

او گفت این طرح موضوعاتی مانند توقف غنی‌سازی، واگذاری ذخایر اورانیوم غنی‌شده که به گفته او به حدود ۱۰ هزار کیلوگرم رسیده، و همچنین نظارت بین‌المللی را در بر می‌گیرد و می‌تواند به‌طور کامل اختلاف‌ها را حل کند.
