The Judiciary of the Islamic Republic announced on the morning of Tuesday, April 11, the execution of two more individuals named Babak Ali Pour and Pouya Ghobadi on charges of "membership" in the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization.

In a statement released by this body, these two individuals have been accused of "rebellion" and "participation in carrying out multiple terrorist operations."

The Fars News Agency, close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported that they are accused of "attacking sensitive centers and public places using a curved weapon (launcher)."

On Monday, two other political prisoners named Mohammad Taghavi Sangdehi and Akbar Daneshvarkar were executed on similar charges.

The individuals executed in the past two days had previously been sentenced to death in Azar 1403. Vahid Bani Amiri and Abolhasan Montazeri are two other defendants in this case facing similar sentences.

قوه قضاییه جمهوری اسلامی صبح روز سه‌شنبه یازدهم فروردین از اعدام دو نفر دیگر به نام‌های بابک علی‌پور و پویا قبادی به اتهام «عضویت» در سازمان مجاهدین خلق خبر داد.

در بیانیه منتشر شده از سوی این نهاد، این دو نفر به «بغی» و «مشارکت در انجام عملیات تروریستی متعدد» متهم شده‌اند.

خبرگزاری فارس، نزدیک به سپاه پاسداران نوشته که آنها متهم هستند با «با استفاده از سلاح گرم منحنی‌زن (لانچر) به مراکز حساس و اماکن عمومی حمله می‌کردند.»

روز دوشنبه نیز دو زندانی سیاسی دیگر به نام‌های محمد تقوی سنگ‌دهی و اکبر دانشورکار به اتهام‌های مشابهی اعدام شده بودند.

افراد اعدام‌شده در دو روز اخیر پیشتر در آذرماه سال ۱۴۰۳ به اعدام محکوم شده بودند. وحید بنی‌عامریان و ابوالحسن منتظر دو متهم دیگر این پرونده هم با حکم مشابهی روبرو هستند.
