"Masoud Pezeshkian" expressed his gratitude to the people, officials, and what he referred to as "Iraqi fighters" in a post on his "X" account.
The Islamic Republic's president wrote in a tweet on Tuesday, April 1, 1405, in both Arabic and Persian: "The Muslim people of Iraq stood bravely alongside Iran in this unjust war; this steadfastness is not due to geographical compulsion but because of shared history, identity, and religious values."
Masoud Pezeshkian continued by warmly shaking hands with the people, officials, and fighters of Iraq in Mesopotamia.
In recent days, images of the deployment of Iraqi paramilitary forces supported by the Islamic Republic, including convoys of "Hashd al-Shaabi," have received significant attention.

«مسعود پزشکیان» با انتشار متنی در حساب «ایکس» خود، از مردم، مسوولان و آنچه او «رزمندگان عراقی» نامید، تشکر کرد.
رییس جمهور اسلامی سهشنبه ۱۱فروردین۱۴۰۵ در توییت خود به دو زبان عربی و فارسی نوشت: «مردم مسلمان عراق در این جنگ ناعادلانه شجاعانه در کنار ایران ایستادند؛ این ایستادگی نه به دلیل جبر جغرافیا که به دلیل تاریخ، هویت و ارزشهای دینی مشترک است.»
مسعود پزشکیان در ادامه نوشت که دست مردم، مسوولان و رزمندگان عراق در بینالنهرین را به گرمی میفشارد.
در روزهای گذشته، تصاویری از اعزام نیروهای شبهه نظامی عراقی مورد حمایت جمهوری اسلامی از جمله کاروانهای «حشد الشعبی» به ایران، بازتابهای بسیاری داشت.
