Donald Trump stated in an interview with Reuters that the United States "will quickly exit Iran" and will return if necessary for "targeted strikes."

When asked when the U.S. would consider the war with the Islamic Republic over, Trump replied, "I can't say exactly, but we will exit quickly."

He added that U.S. actions have ensured that the Islamic Republic will not have nuclear weapons: "They are not capable of building a nuclear weapon now, then I will leave and take everyone with me, and if necessary, we will return for targeted strikes."

In this interview, Trump also mentioned that he intends to express his dissatisfaction with NATO, as he believes this alliance has not supported U.S. objectives in Iran. He said he is fully considering efforts to withdraw the United States from NATO.

دونالد ترامپ در گفتگو با خبرگزاری رویترز گفته ایالات متحده «به‌سرعت از ایران خارج خواهد شد» و در صورت نیاز برای «حملات نقطه‌ای» بازخواهد گشت.

وقتی از او پرسیده شد که چه زمانی آمریکا جنگ با جمهوری‌اسلامی را پایان‌یافته می‌داند، ترامپ پاسخ داد: «نمی‌توانم دقیق بگویم اما به‌سرعت خارج خواهیم شد.»

او افزود که اقدامات آمریکا تضمین کرده است که جمهوری‌اسلامی سلاح هسته‌ای نخواهد داشت: «آن‌ها اکنون قادر به ساخت سلاح هسته‌ای نیستند، سپس من خارج خواهم شد و همه را با خود می‌برم و اگر لازم باشد برای حملات نقطه‌ای باز خواهیم گشت.»

ترامپ در این گفتگو همچنین گفت که قصد دارد نارضایتی خود از ناتو را بیان کند، زیرا به اعتقاد او این اتحاد از اهداف آمریکا در ایران حمایت نکرده است. او گفت که کاملا در حال بررسی تلاش برای خروج ایالات متحده از ناتو است.
