With the successful launch of the Artemis 2 rocket from NASA's Kennedy Space Center, the mission of four astronauts to orbit the Moon has begun.

These four NASA astronauts will reach lunar orbit in a few hours.

The Artemis 2 mission is the first crewed space mission to the Moon since the 1970s.

They will not land on the Moon during this journey. However, according to the plan, they will orbit the Moon, thus completing the farthest human spaceflight to date.

Reid Wiseman, Christina Koch, and Victor Glover are three American astronauts, along with Jeremy Hansen, a Canadian astronaut, who are part of the Artemis 2 mission, aiming to travel to the Moon within 10 days and then return to Earth.

This mission was carried out using the most powerful rocket NASA has ever employed.
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, stated before the launch that Artemis 2 will take astronauts deeper into space than any human has ever been, and this journey is one of the most significant steps in America's space programs.
The last human presence on the Moon dates back to December 1972 during the Apollo mission.

رید وایزمن، کریستینا کُخ و ویکتور گلوور سه فضانور آمریکایی، و جرمی هنسن، فضانورد کانادایی، عضو ماموریت آرتمیس ۲ هستند که قصد دارند طی ۱۰ روز به ماه سفر کنند و سپس به زمین برگردند.

آخرین حضور انسان روی ماه به دسامبر ۱۹۷۲ در ماموریت آپولو بازمی‌گردد.
