The Mizan News Agency, affiliated with the judiciary of the Islamic Republic, reported the execution of Amirhossein Hatami, one of the detainees from the protests in December 2024, on Thursday, April 1, 2025.

Amid a new wave of executions in Iran coinciding with the war in the country, this teenage protester is the fifth person executed by the judiciary in the past three days.

In a statement released by the judiciary, Amirhossein Hatami was accused of "participating in operational actions against the security of the country" and "entering classified military locations with the intent to remove weapons and military ammunition and to destroy and set fire to state property in order to confront the Islamic Republic of Iran."

The statement also claimed that he accepted his charges during the court session and that his sentence was confirmed by the Supreme Court.

Amirhossein Hatami, reportedly born in 2007, was one of the defendants in a case related to the attack on the Basij base 185 Kaveh in eastern Tehran. Earlier reports indicated that all defendants in this case had been transferred from the general ward of Qazalhasar prison to an unknown location.

خبرگزاری میزان، وابسته به قوه قضاییه جمهوری اسلامی، از اجرای حکم اعدام امیرحسین حاتمی، از معترضان بازداشت‌شده در جریان اعتراض‌های دی‌ماه ۱۴۰۴، در روز پنج‌شنبه ۱۳ فروردین ۱۴۰۵ خبر داد.

در ادامه موج تازه اعدام در ایران که همزمان با جنگ در کشور رخ می‌دهد، این معترض نوجوان پنجمین نفری است که قوه قضاییه در سه روز گذشته اعدام کرده است.

در بیانیه منتشر شده از سوی قوه قضائیه، امیرحسین حاتمی به «مشارکت در اقدامات عملیاتی برخلاف امنیت کشور» و «ورود به اماکن نظامی دارای طبقه‌بندی به قصد خارج کردن سلاح و مهمات جنگی و تخریب و آتش زدن اموال دولتی به قصد مقابله با نظام جمهوری اسلامی ایران» متهم شده است.

در این بیانیه همچنین ادعا شده که او در جلسه دادگاه اتهام خود را پذیرفته و حکمش نیز از سوی دیوان عالی کشور تأیید شده بود.

امیرحسین حاتمی که گفته شده متولد سال ۱۳۸۶ بود از متهمان پرونده‌ای مربوط به حمله به پایگاه بسیج ۱۸۵ کاوه در شرق تهران بود.
پیشتر گزارش‌هایی منتشر شده بود که تمام متهمان این پرونده از بند عمومی زندان قزلحصار به مکانی نامعلوم منتقل شده‌اند.
