Donald Trump, the President of the United States, refrained from discussing the details of the ongoing search and rescue operations in Iran following the downing of an American fighter jet on Friday evening, but stated that the downing of the jet would not affect negotiations with Tehran.

In a brief interview with NBC News, he expressed dissatisfaction with media coverage regarding the "intense and sensitive military operations."

When asked whether today's events would impact negotiations with Iran, Trump said it would not. He emphasized, "No, not at all. No, this is war. We are at war."

دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا، شامگاه جمعه از بحث دربارهٔ جزئیات عملیات جاری جست‌وجو و نجات در ایران پس از سرنگونی یک جنگنده آمریکایی خودداری کرد اما گفت سرنگون شدن این جنگنده بر مذاکره با تهران تأثیری نمی‌گذارد.

او در گفت‌وگویی کوتاه با شبکه ان‌بی‌سی نیوز به پوشش‌های رسانه‌ای دربارهٔ «عملیات نظامی شدید و حساس» ابراز نارضایتی کرد.

ترامپ در پاسخ به این سوال که آیا رویدادهای امروز بر مذاکرات با ایران تأثیر خواهد گذاشت، گفت که چنین نخواهد بود.
او تأکید کرد: «نه، اصلاً. نه، این جنگ است. ما در حال جنگ هستیم.»
