The governor of Kohgiluyeh has stated that the Black Mountain area of this county was attacked by missiles from the U.S. and Israel an hour ago, resulting in three deaths and two injuries so far.

Fattah Mohammadi, the political and security deputy of the Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad governorate, also announced the missile attack on the "telecommunications and broadcasting tower" in the Black Mountain area, reporting the death of four citizens and the injury of one person.

Reports have also emerged of helicopter and jet sounds in the area.

The Tasnim news agency, close to the Revolutionary Guards, quoted the governor of Kohgiluyeh as saying: "The exact number of the injured and martyrs has not yet been determined, but it seems that the number of martyrs and injured is higher than this." Iraj Kazemi-Joo stated that currently "we are facing heavy traffic of local forces in the Black Mountain area to provide assistance. The injured are being transferred to medical centers."

Images have been published showing some citizens lining up to inquire about the condition of the injured and to donate blood in front of the Dehdasht hospital.

Some speculations suggest that search and rescue operations are underway to find the second pilot of the downed U.S. F-15 in the area, which seems to be one of the reasons for the traffic of citizens' vehicles on the roads leading to the site.

فرماندار کهگیلویه گفته است که ساعتی پیش منطقه کوه سیاه این شهرستان مورد حمله موشکی ارتش آمریکا و اسرائیل قرار گرفت که که تاکنون سه کشته و دو زخمی در پی داشته است.

فتاح محمدی، معاون سیاسی امنیتی استانداری کهگیلویه و بویراحمد نیز با اعلام خبر حمله موشکی به «دکل مخابرات و صداوسیما» در منطقه کوه سیاه این شهرستان از کشته شدن چهار شهروند و زخمی شدن یک نفر خبر داد.

گزارش‌هایی از شنیده شدن صدای بالگرد و جت در منطقه هم مخابره شده است.

خبرگزاری تسنیم نزدیک به سپاه پاسداران به نقل از فرماندار کهگیلویه نوشت: «آمار دقیق زخمی‌ها و شهدا هنوز مشخص نشده، اما به نظر می‌رسد آمار شهدا و مجروحان بیشتر از این تعداد باشد.»
ایرج کاظمی‌جو گفت که در حال حاضر «با ترافیک سنگین نیروهای مردمی در منطقه کوه سیاه، برای کمک مواجهیم. افراد زخمی‌شده در حال انتقال به مراکز درمانی هستند.»

تصاویری از صف بستن بعضی از شهروندان برای اطلاع از حال زخمیان و اهدای خون در مقابل بیمارستان دهدشت منتشر شده است.

بعضی از گمانه‌زنی‌ها حاکی از عملیات جستجو و نجات برای یافتن خلبان دوم اف-۱۵ سرنگون‌شده آمریکا در منطقه حکایت دارد که به‌نظر می‌رسد احتمالا همین یکی از دلایل ترافیک خودروهای شهروندان در جاده‌های منتهی به محل شده باشد.

لنده شهرستانی کوهستانی در استان کهگیلویه و بویر احمد و با ساکنانی از قوم لر است. لنده در ۳۰ کیلومتری شمال غربی دهدشت قرار دارد و رودخانهٔ مارون از جنوب و رودخانه جن از شرق آن می‌گذرند و کوه سیاه در آنجاست.
