We saved him!

My fellow Americans, over the past few hours, the armed forces of the United States conducted one of the boldest search and rescue operations in American history for one of our extraordinary pilot officers; an officer who is also a highly respected colonel, and I am now pleased to inform you that he is safe and sound!

This brave warrior was trapped behind enemy lines in the treacherous mountains of Iran, with enemy forces closing in on him hour by hour, but he was never truly alone. The Commander in Chief, the Secretary of Defense, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and his fellow warrior comrades were tirelessly monitoring his position and meticulously planning for his rescue.

At my direct order, the armed forces of the United States dispatched dozens of aircraft equipped with the deadliest weapons in the world to bring him back. He was injured during the operation, but he will be completely fine.

This miraculous search and rescue operation was in addition to the successful rescue of another brave pilot yesterday, which we did not confirm because we did not want to jeopardize the second rescue operation. This is the first time in American military memory that two U.S. pilots have been rescued separately deep in enemy territory.

We never leave an American warrior behind!

The fact that we were able to carry out both operations without a single American killed or injured once again proves that we have decisive air superiority and absolute dominance over the skies of Iran.
