Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said in an interview with Axios that the U.S. is "in deep negotiations" with Iran and that an agreement could be reached before his deadline on Tuesday. Trump stated, "There is a good chance, but if they don't reach an agreement, I will blow everything up over there."

In a phone call to Axios, he mentioned that Steve Biegun and Jared Kushner are engaged in intense negotiations. The U.S. President emphasized that "the negotiations are going well, but you never reach the finish line with the Iranians," adding that just a few days ago, the U.S. and Iran were close to an agreement for direct talks.

Trump referred to the attack on the Bilqan Bridge in Karaj on Wednesday, saying, "But they said they would meet with us in five days. So I said: Why five days? I felt they were not serious. So we attacked the bridge."

Two sources involved in the negotiations stated that discussions are taking place through Pakistani, Egyptian, and Turkish intermediaries, as well as through text messages exchanged between Trump's advisors and Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister.

According to Axios, Trump threatened again on Sunday that if he cannot reach an agreement with Iranian leaders, he will "destroy the infrastructure that is vital for Iranian civilians." He posted a message on Truth saying that if Tehran does not open the Strait of Hormuz, he will bomb Iran's power plants and bridges starting Tuesday.

When asked if he is concerned about harming innocent Iranian civilians, Trump said he believes that civilians who oppose their government would support such attacks to weaken the regime. He emphasized that "opponents of the Islamic Republic live in fear," stating, "They are afraid we will leave them in the middle of a war, but we are not going to leave."

دونالد ترامپ، رئیس جمهوری آمریکا در مصاحبه‌ با آکسیوس گفت که ایالات متحده «در حال مذاکرات عمیق» با ایران است و می‌توان قبل از پایان مهلت او در روز سه‌شنبه به توافق رسید.
ترامپ گفت: «شانس خوبی وجود دارد، اما اگر آنها به توافق نرسند، من همه چیز را در آنجا منفجر می‌کنم.»

او در یک تماس تلفنی به اکسیوس گفت که استیو ویتکاف و جرد کوشنر در حال مذاکرات فشرده هستند.
رئیس جمهوری آمریکا با تاکید بر اینکه «مذاکرات به خوبی پیش می‌رود، اما شما هرگز با ایرانی‌ها به خط پایان نمی‌رسید» اضافه کرد که چند روز پیش، ایالات متحده و ایران به توافق برای برگزاری مذاکرات مستقیم نزدیک شده بودند.

ترامپ با اشاره به حمله روز چهارشنبه به پل بیلقان در کرج، گفت: «اما آنها گفتند که پنج روز دیگر با ما ملاقات خواهند کرد. بنابراین من گفتم: چرا پنج روز؟ احساس کردم که آنها جدی نیستند. بنابراین به پل حمله کردیم.»

دو منبع درگیر در مذاکرات گفتند که مذاکرات از طریق واسطه‌های پاکستانی، مصری و ترکی و همچنین از طریق پیامک‌های ارسالی بین مشاوران ترامپ و عباس عراقچی، وزیر امور خارجه جمهوری اسلامی در حال انجام است.

به گزارش آکسیوس، ترامپ روز یکشنبه بار دیگر تهدید کرد که اگر نتواند با رهبران ایران به توافق برسد، «زیرساخت‌هایی را که برای غیرنظامیان ایرانی حیاتی است، نابود خواهد کرد.»
او با انتشار پیامی در تروث نوشت که اگر تهران تنگه هرمز را باز نکند، از روز سه‌شنبه نیروگاه‌ها و پل‌های ایران را بمباران خواهد کرد.
ترامپ در پاسخ به این سوال که آیا نگران آسیب رساندن به غیرنظامیان بی‌گناه ایرانی نیست، گفت که فکر می‌کند غیرنظامیانی که با دولتشان مخالف هستند، از چنین حملاتی برای تضعیف رژیم حمایت می‌کنند.
او با بیان اینکه «مخالفان جمهوری اسلامی در ترس زندگی می‌کنند»، تاکید کرد: «آنها می‌ترسند که ما در میانه جنگ آنجا را ترک کنیم، اما ما آنجا را ترک نخواهیم کرد.»

ترامپ در پاسخ به اکسیوس درباره نگرانی از آسیب به غیرنظامیان ایرانی گفت تصور می‌کند غیرنظامیانی که با حکومت خود مخالف‌اند، از چنین حملاتی برای تضعیف حکومت حمایت خواهند کرد. او گفت: «آنها در ترس زندگی می‌کنند. آنها می‌ترسند ما وسط جنگ آنها را رها کنیم، اما ما قرار نیست برویم.»
