Citizens from the west of #Tehran are reporting a continuous concerning sound. Some messages:

• The continuous loud sound is not related to a fighter jet... It sounds like a large air or gas tank bursting, with air escaping from it... The sound has been present for half an hour throughout the city... The source of the sound is towards the west of Tehran.

• About half an hour ago, a very terrifying sound came from the west of Tehran on Azadi Street, followed by a strange sound that is still ongoing. There’s a smell like gas or sulfur. Neighbors say the main gas line has been hit and everyone is leaving.

• On Tuesday, April 17, at 3:05 AM in Salasbil, Tehran, we are still hearing the sound of a fighter jet. It has gone on for so long that I’m starting to doubt it might be the sound of a gas line that has burst.

• This sound has been going on for twenty minutes! In central Tehran, Vahid, please if anyone has said anything, let us know, we are dying from stress.

Vahid, why isn’t this sound stopping? It usually lasts 5 to 10 minutes, but now it’s been half an hour and it’s continuous.

شهروندان از غرب #تهران از شنیده شدن ممتد صدایی نگران‌کننده می‌گن. بعضی از پیام‌ها:

-صدای ممتد بلند مربوط به جنگنده نیست..صدایی شبیه به ترکیدن یه مخزن باد یا گاز بزرگ هست که باده ازش خارج میشه ....نیم ساعته صدا هست تو کل شهر ..منبع صدا سمت غرب تهرانه.

• حدود نیم ساعت پیش غرب تهران خیابون آزادی یه صدای خیلی مهیب اومد بعدشم یه صدای عجیب که همچنان هم داره میاد. یه بویی مثل گاز یا گوگرده. همسایه ها میگن لوله گاز اصلی رو زده همه دارن میرن

• دوشنبه ۱۷ فروردین ساعت ۳:۰۵ سلسبیل تهران هنوز داریم صدای جنگنده رو میشنویم. اونقدر طولانی شده که دارم شک میکنم شاید صدای شاه لوله گاز باشه که ترکیده

• بیست دقیقه است این صدا میاد! مرکز تهران وحید توروخدا اگه کسی چیزی گفته بگو ما داریم می‌میریم از استرس

وحید این صداعه چرا قطع نمیشه همیشه ۵ تا ۱۰ دقیقه میاد، الان نیم ساعت شده و اصلا اینطوری نیست که قطع بشه ممتد داره میاااااد

اگر لوله اصلی گاز هم باشه خطر انفجار نداره فشار خروج انقدر زیاده که ابتدای شعله حداقل ۳۰ متر بالاتر از سطح لوله شروع میشه

الان ۳و ۱۸ است به نظر جنگنده است چون صدا دور و نزدیک میشه

سلام وحید جان ساعت ۲:۴۰ تهران پل ستارخان به سمت جنوب صدای چند انفجار اومد و از سمت پل یادگار هم یه دودی اومد بالا ولی اونور پل بود به سمت آزادی و طرشت نمیدونم کجا بود،الانم جنگنده نیست بالا سرمون ولی اون صدا عجیب هست هنوز به اضافه اینکه باد و طوفان هم شدید،ولی بوی گاز یا بوی دیگه سمت ما نمیاد یا لاقل فعلا نمیاد

«سمت سلسبیل( رودکی-آدربایجان- آزادی) تهران صدای ممتد وحشتناکی میاد. اول فکر کردم صدای جنگنده‌ست. ولی فکر میکنم صدای چیز دیگه‌ای باشه. فاصله منبع صدا احتمالا کمتر از یک کیلومتره. بیشتر از نیم‌ساعته این صدا میاد. فکر کنم بعد از یک انفجار شروع شد.»
