The Israeli army announced on Monday that in a large-scale attack on Tehran's airports, dozens of aircraft and helicopters of the Islamic Republic's Air Force were targeted at Bahram Airport, Mehrabad Airport, and Azmayesh Airport.

The Israeli army added that Mehrabad Airport, which was targeted multiple times during Operation "Lion's Roar," was used by the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards and acted as the main hub for arming and financing the terrorist proxy forces of the "regime" in the Middle East. Aircraft filled with weapons and cash repeatedly took off from this airport and landed in various locations across the Middle East to be handed over to the Islamic Republic's proxy forces.

ارتش اسرائیل روز دوشنبه اعلام کرد که در حمله‌ای گسترده به فرودگاه‌های تهران، ده‌ها هواپیما و بالگرد نیروی هوایی جمهوری اسلامی را در فرودگاه بهرام، فرودگاه مهرآباد و فرودگاه آزمایش هدف قرار داده است.

ارتش اسرائیل افزود: فرودگاه مهرآباد که در جریان عملیات «غرش شیران» چندین بار هدف حمله قرار گرفت، توسط نیروی قدس سپاه پاسداران مورد استفاده قرار می‌گرفت و به‌عنوان کانون اصلی تسلیح و تأمین مالی نیروهای نیابتی تروریستی «رژیم» در خاورمیانه عمل می‌کرد. هواپیماهای مملو از تسلیحات و پول نقد بارها از این فرودگاه به پرواز درآمده و در نقاط مختلف خاورمیانه فرود می‌آمدند تا در اختیار نیروهای نیابتی جمهوری اسلامی قرار گیرند.
