Official sources in Iran reported on Tuesday afternoon, April 18, that some points and communication lines in certain provinces were targeted in airstrikes by Israel and the United States.
According to a statement from the crisis management of East Azerbaijan province, due to the impact of projectiles "on the area of the roadside station in Varqeh," located 90 kilometers from the Tabriz-Tehran highway, both directions of this highway have been blocked.
On Tuesday, Iranian media also published images of rescuers assisting some of the injured from the airstrike on the railway tracks in Karaj.
In central Iran, the Isfahan governorate reported that the Yahyaabad railway bridge in Kashan County was targeted, and the Qom governorate announced that "land communication bridges in the west of Qom province were targeted by American and Israeli attacks."
At the same time, the Khuzestan governorate also announced that "a point in the vicinity of Zeytun and the Ahvaz-Melli road" was hit.
The Israeli army issued a warning on Tuesday morning, urging the people of Iran to avoid traveling by train until 9 PM on April 18 and to stay away from railway lines.

منابع رسمی در ایران بعدازظهر سهشنبه ۱۸ فروردین از مورد هدف قرار گرفتن برخی نقاط و خطوط ارتباطی در بعضی استانها در حملات هوایی اسرائیل و آمریکا خبر دادند.
بر اساس اطلاعیه مدیریت بحران استان آذربایجان شرقی، به علت اصابت پرتابهها «به محدوده راهدارخانه ورقه» در ۹۰ کیلومتری آزادراه تبریز به تهران، مسیر رفت و برگشت این آزاد راه مسدود شده است.
روز سهشنبه رسانههای ایران تصاویری از کمکرسانی امدادگران به برخی مجروحان حمله هوایی به ریل راهآهن در کرج نیز منتشر کردند.
در مرکز ایران، استانداری اصفهان از هدف گرفته شدن پل راهآهن یحییآباد در شهرستان کاشان خبر داد و استانداری قم نیز اعلام کرد «پلهای ارتباطی زمینی در غرب استان قم هدف حملات آمریکا و اسرائیل قرار گرفت».
همزمان استانداری خوزستان هم اعلام کرد «یک نقطه در محدودهٔ زیتون و ملی راه اهواز» مورد اصابت قرار گرفته است.
ارتش اسرائیل صبح سهشنبه با صدور هشداری از مردم ایران خواست تا ساعت ۹ شب ۱۸ فروردین از سفر با قطار خودداری کنند و از خطوط راهآهن فاصله بگیرند.
