The Wall Street Journal, citing two U.S. officials, reported that the country's military targeted military objectives on Kharg Island in airstrikes early Tuesday, April 6 (Eastern Time). This operation took place just hours before Donald Trump's deadline for the Islamic Republic to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
One of the officials stated that more than 50 military targets were destroyed in this strategic island, which is considered Iran's main oil export terminal. However, sources from the Wall Street Journal emphasized that the recent attacks were purely military in nature and did not involve oil infrastructure or extraction facilities.

والاستریت ژورنال به نقل از دو مقام رسمی ایالات متحده، اعلام کرد که ارتش این کشور بامداد سهشنبه ۱۸ فروردین (به وقت شرق آمریکا) اهداف نظامی را در جزیره خارگ هدف حملات هوایی قرار داد. این عملیات تنها چند ساعت پیش از پایان ضربالاجل دونالد ترامپ برای بازگشایی تنگه هرمز توسط جمهوری اسلامی انجام شده است.
