"Message from Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on behalf of the Supreme National Security Council

I would like to thank my dear brother, Mr. Shahbaz Sharif, the esteemed Prime Minister of Pakistan, and Mr. Field Marshal Asim Munir, the respected Commander of the Pakistan Army, for their tireless efforts to end the war in the region.

In response to the brotherly request of the Prime Minister of Pakistan mentioned in his tweet, and considering the request from the United States for negotiations on its 15-point proposals, as well as the announcement by the President of the United States regarding the acceptance of the generalities of Iran's 10-point proposals as a basis for negotiation, I hereby announce on behalf of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran:

1. If attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran cease, our powerful armed forces will also halt their defensive attacks.

2. For a period of two weeks, safe passage in the Strait of Hormuz will be possible in coordination with the Iranian armed forces, taking into account existing technical limitations."

"پیام سید عباس عراقچی وزیر امور خارجه جمهوری اسلامی ایران به نمایندگی از شورای عالی امنیت ملی

از برادر عزیز جناب شهباز شریف نخست وزیر محترم پاکستان و جناب فیلد مارشال عاصم منیر فرمانده محترم ارتش پاکستان به خاطر تلاش های خستگی ناپذیر ایشان برای خاتمه جنگ در منطقه تشکر و قدردانی می کنم.

در پاسخ به درخواست برادرانه نخست وزیر پاکستان مندرج در توییت ایشان، و با توجه به درخواست امریکا برای مذاکره در پیشنهادات ۱۵ بندی آن کشور، و اعلام رییس جمهور امریکا مبنی بر پذیرش کلیات پیشنهادات ۱۰ بندی ایران به عنوان مبنای مذاکره، بدینوسیله از طرف شورای عالی امنیت ملی ایران اعلام می کنم:

۱. چنانچه حملات به جمهوری اسلامی ایران متوقف شود، نیروهای مسلح قدرتمند ما نیز حملات دفاعی خود را متوقف می کنند.

۲. به مدت دو هفته تردد امن در تنگه هرمز در هماهنگی با نیروهای مسلح ایران و با نظرداشت محدودیت های فنی موجود مقدور خواهد بود."
