The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, April 19, in an exclusive report citing mediators and a knowledgeable source, that Israel, which was not officially part of the negotiations with Iran, expressed dissatisfaction that it was not consulted as the agreement was nearing finalization.
A White House official stated that the entire consultation process with Israel was limited to a phone call between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, shortly before the official announcement of the ceasefire. According to this official, Netanyahu agreed to participate in the ceasefire; however, the Prime Minister's office has not yet responded to requests for comment.
Mediators say Israeli officials oppose the terms of this agreement, including the inclusion of Lebanon in the text of the pact, as Israel views the Iranian and Lebanese fronts as two separate arenas. In this context, Netanyahu stated on Wednesday morning that this agreement does not include Lebanon; a point that Trump also reiterated in an interview with CBS News.

والاستریت ژورنال روز چهارشنبه ۱۹ فروردین، در گزارشی اختصاصی به نقل از میانجیگران و یک منبع آگاه اعلام کرد که اسرائیل که به طور رسمی بخشی از مذاکرات با ایران نبود، از اینکه در مراحل نهایی در جریان نهایی شدن توافق قرار گرفته و با این کشور مشورتی صورت نگرفته، ابراز ناخرسندی کرده است.
یک مقام کاخ سفید اعلام کرد که کل فرآیند مشورت با اسرائیل، منحصر به تماس تلفنی دونالد ترامپ با بنیامین نتانیاهو، نخستوزیر اسرائیل، اندکی پیش از اعلام رسمی آتشبس بوده است. به گفته این مقام، نتانیاهو با مشارکت در این آتشبس موافقت کرده است؛ هرچند دفتر نخستوزیر اسرائیل هنوز واکنشی به درخواستها برای اظهارنظر نشان نداده است.
میانجیگران میگویند مقامات اسرائیلی با مفاد این توافق، از جمله گنجاندن لبنان در متن پیمان، مخالف هستند؛ چرا که اسرائیل جبهه ایران و لبنان را دو عرصه مجزا میداند. در همین راستا، نتانیاهو صبح چهارشنبه گفت که این توافق شامل لبنان نمیشود؛ مسئلهای که ترامپ نیز در گفتگو با سیبیاس نیوز تکرار کرد.
