White House spokesperson:
Initially, the Iranians presented a 10-point plan that was fundamentally unserious and completely unacceptable. This plan was effectively thrown in the trash by President Trump and his negotiating team.

Many media outlets have mistakenly reported that this plan was acceptable to the United States. This claim is not true. As the deadline set by the President approached rapidly, and while the U.S. military was delivering heavy blows to Iran hour by hour, this regime accepted reality in front of the negotiating team.

After that, they presented a new, different, more compact, and reasonable plan. President Trump and his team concluded that this new revised plan could serve as a viable basis for negotiations; a basis that is supposed to align with our own 15-point proposal.

The President's red lines — including the end of Iran's enrichment within the country — have not changed. The notion that President Trump might accept Iran's list of demands as an agreement is completely ridiculous.

بسیاری از رسانه‌ها به‌اشتباه گزارش داده‌اند که این طرح برای ایالات متحده قابل قبول بوده است. این ادعا صحت ندارد. با نزدیک شدن سریع به ضرب‌الاجل تعیین‌شده از سوی رئیس‌جمهور و در حالی که ارتش آمریکا ساعت‌به‌ساعت ضربات سنگینی به ایران وارد می‌کرد، این رژیم واقعیت را در برابر تیم مذاکره‌کننده پذیرفت.

پس از آن، آنها طرحی جدید، متفاوت، فشرده‌تر و معقول‌تر ارائه کردند. رئیس‌جمهور ترامپ و تیم او به این جمع‌بندی رسیدند که این طرح جدیدِ اصلاح‌شده می‌تواند مبنایی قابل اجرا برای مذاکرات باشد؛ مبنایی که قرار است با پیشنهاد ۱۵ بندی خود ما همسو شود.

خطوط قرمز رئیس‌جمهور — از جمله پایان غنی‌سازی ایران در داخل این کشور — تغییری نکرده است. این تصور که رئیس‌جمهور ترامپ ممکن است فهرست خواسته‌های ایران را به‌عنوان یک توافق بپذیرد، کاملاً مضحک است.
