Donald Trump, the President of the United States, wrote on the social media platform Truth Social on Thursday:
"All ships, planes, and military forces of the United States, along with additional ammunition and weapons, and everything necessary and appropriate to crush and destroy an enemy that has already been severely weakened, will remain in Iran and its surroundings until a real agreement is fully implemented. If for any reason this does not happen, which is very unlikely, then 'the shots will begin'; bigger, better, and more powerful than anything anyone has ever seen."

In his message, he added: "It was agreed long ago, and contrary to all the false rhetoric of the opposition, [it was emphasized that]: there will be no nuclear weapons and the Strait of Hormuz will remain open and secure. In the meantime, our great army is being equipped and rested, and in fact, is looking forward to its next victories. America is back!"

«تمامی کشتی‌ها، هواپیماها و نیروهای نظامی ایالات متحده، به همراه مهمات و جنگ‌افزارهای اضافی و هر آنچه برای سرکوب مرگبار و نابودیِ دشمنی که از قبل به شدت تضعیف شده، مناسب و ضروری است، در ایران و اطراف آن باقی خواهند ماند تا زمانی که به توافق واقعیِ به‌دست‌آمده به‌طور کامل عمل شود. اگر به هر دلیلی چنین نشود، که بسیار بعید است، آنگاه «شلیک‌ها آغاز می‌شود»؛ بزرگ‌تر، برتر و قدرتمندتر از هر آنچه تا به حال کسی دیده است.»

او در پیام خود افزود: «مدت‌ها پیش توافق شد و برخلاف تمام لفاظی‌های دروغینِ مخالف، [تأکید شد که]: سلاح هسته‌ای در کار نخواهد بود و تنگهٔ هرمز باز و امن خواهد ماند. در این میان، ارتش بزرگ ما در حال تجهیز و استراحت است و در واقع، چشم‌به‌راه پیروزی‌های بعدی خود است. آمریکا بازگشته است!»
