Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf wrote on his X account that before the negotiations between the Islamic Republic and the United States begin, two fundamental conditions must be met. According to him, these conditions include "establishing a ceasefire in Lebanon" and "freeing the frozen assets" of the Islamic Republic. He wrote: "This issue must be resolved before the negotiations start."
