Iranian media reported the presence of "more than 80 individuals" in the delegation of the Islamic Republic for negotiations with the United States in Islamabad, stating that the delegation is headed by Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.

In addition to Qalibaf, the delegation includes Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister; Ali Akbar Ahmadian, Secretary of the Defense Council; Ali Bagheri Kani, Deputy for Foreign Policy at the Supreme National Security Council; Abdolnaser Hemmati, Governor of the Central Bank; Kazem Gharibabadi, Deputy Foreign Minister; Majid Takht-Ravanchi, Deputy Foreign Minister; Abolfazl Amouei, Special Assistant to the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly for International Affairs; and Mahmoud Nabavian, representative of Tehran and Deputy Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Assembly.

Additionally, Amir-Moghadam, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic in Pakistan, is accompanying the delegation.

Iranian news agencies reported that, in addition to the main negotiators, 26 members of technical and specialized committees in economic, security, and political fields are also part of this delegation to provide necessary consultations due to the "high sensitivity of the negotiations."

Furthermore, 23 media members from Iranian media outlets are accompanying the negotiating delegation.

رسانه‌های ایران از حضور «بیش از ۸۰ نفر» در ترکیب هیئت اعزامی جمهوری اسلامی برای مذاکره با آمریکا در اسلام‌آباد خبر دادند و نوشتند که ریاست این هیئت را محمدباقر قالیباف، رئیس مجلس شورای اسلامی برعهده دارد.

علاوه بر قالیباف، عباس عراقچی وزیر خارجه، علی‌اکبر احمدیان دبیر شورای دفاع، علی باقری کنی معاون سیاست خارجی دبیرخانه شورای عالی امنیت ملی، عبدالناصر همتی رییس کل بانک مرکزی، کاظم غریب‌آبادی معاون وزیر خارجه، مجید تخت‌روانچی معاون وزیر خارجه، ابوالفضل عمویی دستیار ویژه رئیس مجلس شورای اسلامی در امور بین‌الملل و محمود نبویان نماینده تهران و نایب رئیس کمیسیون امنیت ملی و سیاست خارجی مجلس در این هیئت حضور دارند.

همچنین امیری مقدم سفیر جمهوری اسلامی در پاکستان نیز این هیئت را همراهی می‌کند.

خبرگزاری‌های ایران نوشتند که علاوه بر مذاکره‌کنندگان اصلی، ۲۶ نفر عضو کمیته های فنی و تخصصی در حوزه‌های اقتصادی، امنیتی و سیاسی نیز در این هیات حضور دارند تا به دلیل «حساسیت بالای مذاکرات»، مشورت‌های لازم را ارائه کنند.

همچنین ‌۲۳ عضو رسانه‌ای از رسانه‌های ایران هیئت مذاکره‌کننده را همراهی کرده‌اند.
