The U.S. Department of State announced in a statement the revocation of the permanent residency (green card) of Eisa Hashemi, the son of Masoumeh Ebtekar, Maryam Tahmasbi, Eisa's wife, and their son.
In a statement released by the U.S. Department of State on Saturday, April 22, it reported the arrest of "three Iranian nationals linked to the Iranian regime" by federal agents "following the revocation of their legal permanent residency status by Marco Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State."
The statement reads: "Seyed Eisa Hashemi, Maryam Tahmasbi, and their son are now in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to be deported from the United States."

وزارت امور خارجه آمریکا با انتشار بیانیهای از لغو محجوز اقامت دائم (کارت سبز یا گرین کارد) عیسی هاشمی، پسر معصومه ابتکار، مریم طهماسبی، همسر عیسی و پسرشان خبر داد.
در بیانیهای که وزارت امور 1خارجه آمریکا روز شنبه ۲۲ فروردین منتشر کرد، از دستگیری «سه تبعه ایرانی مرتبط با رژیم ایران» توسط مأموران دولت فدرال «پس از لغو وضعیت اقامت دائم قانونیشان توسط مارکو روبیو، وزیر امور خارجه آمریکا» خبر داد.
در این بیانیه آمده است: «سید عیسی هاشمی، مریم طهماسبی و پسرشان اکنون در بازداشت اداره مهاجرت و گمرک ایالات متحده هستند تا از ایالات متحده اخراج شوند.»
