The Islamic Republic's state media has reported, citing a senior military official, that a U.S. military vessel has been warned that if it continues towards the Strait of Hormuz, it will be attacked within 30 minutes, and this vessel was prevented from approaching the Strait of Hormuz. This statement follows an Axios report indicating that several U.S. Navy ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz without coordination with the Islamic Republic. State media has denied Axios's report. At the same time, Trump wrote on Truth Social that the U.S. military has begun clearing the Strait of Hormuz and added that all 28 Iranian minesweeping boats have been sunk.

صدا و سیما از قول یک مقام ارشد نظامی جمهوریاسلامی گزارش داده به یک شناور نظامی آمریکا اخطار داده شده که اگر به سمت تنگه هرمز ادامه حرکت دهد، ظرف ۳۰ دقیقه مورد حمله قرار خواهد گرفت و از نزدیک شدن این شناور به تنگه هرمز جلوگیری شد.
این اظهار نظر پس از گزارش آکسیوس مبنی بر عبور چند ناو نیروی دریایی آمریکا از تنگه هرمز بدون هماهنگی با جمهوریاسلامی صورت گرفته است. صدا و سیما خبر آکسیوس را تکذیب کرده است. همزمان ترامپ در تروث سوشال نوشته بود ارتش آمریکا شروع به پاکسازی تنگه هرمز کرده و اضافه کرده که تمام ۲۸ قایق مینگذار ایران غرق شدهاند.
