Trump: The Threat of "Iranian Civilization" Brought Tehran Officials to the Negotiation Table; They Haven't Left the Talks Yet

Donald Trump, in an interview with Fox News, attributed his harsh statements about the "destruction of civilization" as the reason for bringing the Islamic Republic to the negotiation table, stating that despite recent deadlocks, they have not yet left the talks. He belittled Iran's current military capabilities, declaring that the country's naval and air forces have been completely destroyed and that 158 of their ships are at the bottom of the sea.

Trump emphasized that he has instructed his team in Islamabad to show no flexibility and to agree only on "100 percent" of America's demands. He predicted that Tehran officials, lacking any trump cards, would soon return and accept all of Washington's conditions. He clarified that accepting 90 or 95 percent of the demands is not enough for him, and he wants everything.

دونالد ترامپ در گفتگو با فاکس‌نیوز، بیانیه‌های تند خود درباره «نابودی تمدن» را عامل کشاندن جمهوری اسلامی به پای میز مذاکره دانست و گفت آن‌ها با وجود بن‌بست‌های اخیر، هنوز گفتگوها را ترک نکرده‌اند. او با تحقیر توان نظامی فعلی ایران، اعلام کرد که نیروی دریایی و هوایی این کشور به‌طور کامل از بین رفته و ۱۵۸ کشتی آن‌ها در قعر دریا هستند.

ترامپ تاکید کرد که در مذاکرات اسلام‌آباد به تیم خود دستور داده است هیچ انعطافی نشان ندهند و تنها بر سر «۱۰۰ درصد» مطالبات آمریکا توافق کنند. او پیش‌بینی کرد که مقامات تهران به دلیل نداشتن هیچ برگ برنده‌ای، به‌زودی بازگشته و تمامی شروط واشنگتن را خواهند پذیرفت. وی تصریح کرد که پذیرش ۹۰ یا ۹۵ درصد از خواسته‌ها برای او کافی نیست و او همه چیز را می‌خواهد.
