Government media reported on the visit of Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, to Tehran.

These media outlets published images of this senior military official's arrival in Iran, stating that he traveled to Tehran with the aim of "conveying a message from the United States and planning for the second round of talks."

According to published reports, negotiations between the Islamic Republic and the United States are set to resume in Islamabad in the coming days.

Simultaneously with Asim Munir's visit to Tehran, the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement that Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, will undertake official visits to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey from April 15 to 18.

رسانه‌های حکومتی از سفر عاصم منیر، فرمانده ارتش پاکستان به تهران خبر دادند.

این رسانه‌ها با انتشار تصاویر ورود این مقام ارشد نظامی پاکستان به ایران گزارش دادند او با هدف «انتقال پیام آمریکا و برنامه‌ریزی برای دور دوم گفت‌وگوها» به تهران سفر کرده است.

بر اساس گزارش‌های منتشر شده، مذاکرات میان جمهوری اسلامی و آمریکا قرار است در روزهای آینده بار دیگر در اسلام‌آباد از سر گرفته شود.
همزمان با سفر عاصم منیر به تهران وزارت امور خارجه پاکستان در بیانیه‌ای اعلام کرد محمد شهباز شریف، نخست‌وزیر پاکستان، از ۲۶ تا ۲۹ فروردین سفرهای رسمی به عربستان سعودی، کشور قطر و ترکیه انجام خواهد داد.
