The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting reported on Thursday, April 27, about a phone call between Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf and Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament.
This call came as Trump stated that today, for the first time in 37 years, leaders from Israel and Lebanon will directly talk to each other.
According to IRIB, Qalibaf told Nabih Berri: "I am continuously following the situation in Lebanon and the establishment of a ceasefire in this country, and this issue is very important to us. In the negotiations in Islamabad and afterwards, we are seriously seeking to compel the enemies to establish a permanent ceasefire in all conflict areas according to the agreement, as a ceasefire in Lebanon is as important to us as a ceasefire in Iran."
A group of supporters of the Islamic Republic has accused the Iranian regime's negotiators of betraying Lebanon.

عاصم منیر در چارچوب تلاش‌های این کشور برای میانجی‌گری میان تهران و واشنگتن به ایران سفر کرده است.
الجزیره، صبح پنجشنبه به‌نقل از یک مقام امنیتی پاکستان گزارش کرده بود که عاصم منیر روز جمعه به واشنگتن سفر می‌کند.

خبرگزاری صداوسیما روز پنجشنبه ۲۷ فروردین‌ماه از تماس تلفنی میان محمد باقر قالیباف، رئیس مجلس شورای اسلامی با نبیه بری، رئیس مجلس لبنان خبر دادند.
این تماس در حالی بود که ترامپ گفته است امروز رهبران اسرائیل و لبنان برای نخستین بار پس از ۳۷ سال برای نخستین بار با یکدیگر مستقیما گفتگو می‌کنند.
به گزارش صدا و سیما قالیباف به نبیه بری گفت: من به طور مداوم پیگیر اوضاع در لبنان و برقراری آتش بس در این کشور هستم و این موضوع برای ما بسیار مهم است. در مذاکرات اسلام آباد و نیز پس از آن هم به طور جدی به دنبال وادار کردن دشمنان به برقراری آتش بس دائم در همه مناطق درگیری طبق توافق هستیم چرا که برای ما آتش‌بس در لبنان به اندازه آتش‌بس در ایران اهمیت دارد.
گروهی از جریان‌های هواداران جمهوری اسلامی مذاکره‌کنندگان رژیم ایران را به خیانت به لبنان متهم کرده‌اند.
