Ismail Baqai, the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, says that the enriched uranium reserves of the Islamic Republic "are not going to be transferred anywhere at all."
He added on the evening of Friday, April 28: "The transfer of uranium to the United States has not been considered as an option. Just as the soil of Iran is sacred, so is enriched uranium."
This comes as Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced Iran's agreement to a "unlimited suspension" of its nuclear activities and stated that Washington would also go to Iran to transfer the Islamic Republic's enriched uranium reserves to the U.S.
The International Atomic Energy Agency has confirmed that 400 kilograms of Iran's uranium enriched to 60% has been buried inside the country's damaged nuclear facilities during the 12-day war in 1404.

اسماعیل بقائی، سخنگوی وزارت خارجه جمهوری اسلامی میگوید ذخایر اورانیوم غنیشده جمهوری اسلامی «به هیچوجه به جایی قرار نیست انتقال داده شود».
او شامگاه جمعه ۲۸ فروردین افزود: «انتقال اورانیوم به آمریکا به عنوان گزینه مطرح نبوده است. به همان اندازه که خاک ایران مقدس است، اورانیوم غنیشده هم همین گونه است.»
این در حالی است که دونالد ترامپ، رئیسجمهور آمریکا از موافقت ایران با «تعلیق نامحدود» فعالیت هستهای خود خبر داد و گفت واشینگتن نیز برای انتقال ذخیره اورانیوم غنیشده جمهوری اسلامی به آمریکا، به ایران خواهد رفت.
آژانس بینالمللی انرژی اتمی تأیید کرده که ۴۰۰ کیلوگرم اورانیوم با غنای ۶۰ درصدی ایران، داخل تأسیسات هستهای آسیبدیده کشور در جریان جنگ ۱۲ روزه در سال ۱۴۰۴ مدفون شده است.
