The President of the United States says that if we do not reach an agreement with Iran by Wednesday, we may not extend the ceasefire. According to Donald Trump, however, the blockade of Iranian ports will continue. He added, "In that case, you will witness a blockade, and unfortunately, we will have to resume bombing."

The U.S. President, speaking to reporters on "Air Force One," also said, "Twenty minutes ago, we had very good news. It seems that things with Iran will go very well." Donald Trump did not mention the content or source of this news.

In response to reporters' questions about the content of the news he referred to, he said, "You will hear about this topic. I think something will happen. It’s the only thing that seems reasonable, and I think it will happen. We will see what happens."

Donald Trump also emphasized that Iran will not have nuclear weapons and cannot impose tariffs on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz under any circumstances.

Mr. Trump reiterated the plan to "remove Iran's enriched uranium," stating that we will either do this with the cooperation of the Iranians or "in a non-friendly manner"; but in any case, we will do it.

The U.S. President also mentioned that on Saturday morning (Washington time), there will be a "surprise," and someone will go to the White House to hold a press conference. Donald Trump did not reveal the identity of this person; however, in response to whether it is related to the issue of Iran, he said, "It is not related, but it may eventually become related."

او ادامه داد که «در آن صورت شاهد محاصره خواهید بود و متاسفانه ناچار به از سرگرفتن بمباران خواهیم شد».
رئیس‌جمهور ایالات متحده که در «ایر فورس ۱» هواپیمای ویژۀ رئیس‌جمهوری با خبرنگاران صحبت می‌کرد، در عین حال گفت «بیست دقیقۀ پیش، خبرهای خیلی خوبی داشتیم. به‌نظر می‌رسد شرایط با ایران خیلی خوب پیش خواهد رفت». دونالد ترامپ اشاره‌ای به محتوا یا منبع این اخبار نکرد.
رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا در پاسخ به سوال خبرنگاران دربارۀ محتوای خبر مورد اشاره‌اش، گفت: «دربارۀ این موضوع خواهید شنید. فکر می‌کنم اتفاقی خواهد افتاد. تنها اتفاقی است که معقول به‌نظر می‌رسد و فکر می‌کنم که همینطور خواهد شد.

دونالد ترامپ همزمان تأکید کرد که ایران سلاح هسته‌ای نخواهد داشت و تحت هیچ شرایطی نمی‌تواند از کشتی‌های عبوری از تنگۀ هرمز، تعرفه دریافت کند.
آقای ترامپ با تأکید دوباره بر برنامۀ «خارج کردن اورانیوم غنی‌شدۀ ایران» گفت، یا با همراهی ایرانی‌ها اینکار را انجام می‌دهیم، یا «با روشی غیردوستانه»؛ اما در هر حال این کار را انجام خواهیم داد.
رئیس‌جمهور ایالات متحده همچنین اشاره کرد که صبح شنبه (به وقت واشینگتن) یک «سورپرایز» خواهد داشت و فردی به کاخ سفید خواهد رفت و نشستی خبری برگزار خواهد کرد.
دونالد ترامپ حاضر به معرفی این فرد نشد؛ اما در پاسخ به این‌که آیا با موضوع ایران ارتباطی دارد یا خیر، گفت «مرتبط نیست اما ممکن است در نهایت، ارتباطی پیدا شود».
