Hamid Asafi, a political activist, has announced that on March 5 of last year, following an armed raid by agents at his home, he was arrested without a judicial warrant and severely beaten.

According to him, the agents broke down the door to enter and after his arrest, transferred him to one of the facilities affiliated with the Ministry of Intelligence. There, they initially mistakenly identified him as one of the signatories of a political statement regarding "transition from the Islamic Republic and holding a referendum," and then accused him of "having connections with the Israeli government."

Asafi states that after several hours, the agents announced that his arrest was a "mistake" and that his name had been mistakenly included in the list of detainees. However, he emphasizes that during his detention, he was subjected to severe violence.

He reports that about three weeks after this incident, he experienced severe physical symptoms and ultimately underwent surgery due to bleeding in two areas of his brain.

This political activist, while rejecting the notion of an "administrative error," considers it a sign of a recurring pattern of violent encounters and has warned about the implications for the personal safety of individuals.

حمید آصفی، فعال سیاسی اعلام کرده است که روز ۱۴ اسفند سال گذشته، در پی هجوم مأموران مسلح به منزلش، بدون ارائه حکم قضایی بازداشت و به‌شدت مورد ضرب و شتم قرار گرفته است.

به گفته او، مأموران با شکستن درِ خانه وارد شده و پس از بازداشت، وی را به یکی از مقرهای وابسته به وزارت اطلاعات منتقل کردند. در آنجا، ابتدا به اشتباه او را از امضاکنندگان یک بیانیه سیاسی درباره «گذار از جمهوری اسلامی و برگزاری رفراندوم» معرفی کرده و سپس اتهام «ارتباط با دولت اسرائیل» را مطرح کرده‌اند.

آصفی می‌گوید پس از ساعاتی، مأموران اعلام کردند که بازداشت او «اشتباهی» بوده و نامش به‌اشتباه در فهرست بازداشتی‌ها قرار گرفته است. با این حال، او تأکید دارد که در طول بازداشت، مورد خشونت شدید قرار گرفته است.

به گفته او، حدود سه هفته پس از این حادثه، دچار علائم شدید جسمی شده و در نهایت با تشخیص خونریزی در دو ناحیه از مغز، تحت عمل جراحی قرار گرفته است.

این فعال سیاسی ضمن رد «اشتباه اداری» بودن ماجرا، آن را نشانه‌ای از یک الگوی تکرارشونده از برخوردهای خشونت‌آمیز دانسته و نسبت به پیامدهای آن بر امنیت جانی افراد هشدار داده است.
