While the leaders of the Islamic Republic still claim they have no intention of participating in any negotiations, the President of the United States says that his high-level delegation will arrive in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, in a few hours.

The New York Post reported on Monday, citing Donald Trump, that the American delegation, led by J.D. Vance and including Stuy Witkoff and Jared Kushner, has headed to Islamabad for another round of negotiations with Tehran.

This comes as Iranian officials have described the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports in the Persian Gulf as a "violation of the ceasefire" and stated that they currently have no plans to participate in the second round of peace talks with the U.S.

Trump threatened again yesterday that if this round of negotiations does not yield his desired results, power plants and infrastructure in Iran will once again be targeted.

در حالی که سران جمهوری اسلامی هنوز ادعا می‌کنند که قصد شرکت در هیچ مذاکراتی را ندارند، رئیس جمهور آمریکا می‌گوید که هیئت بلندپایه کشورش تا ساعاتی دیگر به اسلام‌آباد، پایتخت پاکستان، می‌رسند.

روزنامه نیویورک پست روز دوشنبه به نقل از دونالد ترامپ نوشت که هیئت بلندپایه آمریکایی به ریاست جی‌دی ونس و عضویت استوی ویتکاف و جرد کوشنر برای دور دیگری از مذاکره با تهران به سوی اسلام‌آباد عزیمت کرده‌اند.

این در حالی است که مقام‌های ایران اعمال محاصره دریایی بنادر ایران در خلیج فارس توسط آمریکا را «نقض آتش‌بس» خوانده و گفته‌اند که فعلاً برنامه‌ای برای شرکت در دور دوم مذاکرات صلح با آمریکا را ندارند.

ترامپ روز گذشته بار دیگر تهدید کرده بود که اگر این دور از مذاکرات به نتیجه مطلوب او نرسد، نیروگاه‌ها و زیرساخت‌ها در ایران بار دیگر هدف قرار خواهند گرفت.
