The New York Times reports that four Iranian officials have told the publication that Mojtaba Khamenei is still undergoing treatment and is awaiting a prosthesis for one of his legs and plastic surgery to repair severe facial injuries.
In the report published on Thursday, April 22, it is stated that one of Mojtaba Khamenei's legs has been operated on three times and he is waiting for a prosthetic limb. He has also undergone surgery on one of his hands and is gradually regaining its functionality. His face and lips have been severely burned, making it difficult for him to speak, and he will ultimately require plastic surgery.
