Hrana reported that Ahmadinejad, Bashri Mostafavi, and Elna Naeimi were arrested on Saturday, April 24, 1405, to serve their sentences and were transferred to the prison in Kerman County. Bashri Mostafavi is currently pregnant.

These three citizens had previously been sentenced to four months in prison each by the seventh branch of the Kerman Court of Appeals. They were tried on April 13, 1404, on charges of "propagating in favor of groups or organizations opposed to the Islamic Republic." Hengaw reported that the judge in the appeals court, in a discriminatory manner, told these individuals: "You are Baha'is, and in an Islamic country, you must pay the price for being a Baha'i."

Earlier, the third branch of the criminal court in Rafsanjan had acquitted these three Baha'i citizens due to a lack of sufficient evidence, but this ruling faced an objection from the prosecutor of Rafsanjan.

بشری مصطفوی هم اکنون باردار است.

این سه شهروند پیشتر توسط شعبه هفتم دادگاه تجدیدنظر استان کرمان هر کدام به چهار ماه حبس محکوم شده بودند. آنان در تاریخ ۲۴ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۴ به اتهام «تبلیغ به نفع گروه‌ها یا سازمان‌های مخالف نظام جمهوری اسلامی» در این شعبه محاکمه شده بودند.
هه‌نگاو گزارش داده قاضی دادگاه تجدیدنظر در جریان رسیدگی به پرونده، با رویکردی تبعیض‌آمیز خطاب به این افراد گفته است: «شما بهایی هستید و در کشور اسلامی باید تاوان بهایی بودن خود را بدهید.»

پیشتر شعبه سوم دادگاه کیفری رفسنجان با استناد به نبود دلایل کافی، این سه شهروند بهایی را تبرئه کرده بود، اما این حکم با اعتراض دادستان رفسنجان مواجه شد.
