Scott Basset, the U.S. Treasury Secretary, announced that the Office of Foreign Assets Control has sanctioned several cryptocurrency wallets linked to Iran, resulting in the blocking of $344 million in digital assets.
He stated that the United States is monitoring the flow of Iranian financial resources abroad and will target all financial pathways associated with the Islamic Republic. Basset also added that Iran's attacks on neighboring countries in the Persian Gulf have prompted some regional governments to show readiness for greater cooperation in identifying and investigating assets related to Iran.

اسکات بسنت، وزیر خزانهداری آمریکا، اعلام کرد دفتر کنترل داراییهای خارجی این کشور چندین کیف پول رمزارزی مرتبط با ایران را تحریم کرده و در نتیجه ۳۴۴ میلیون دلار دارایی دیجیتال مسدود شده است.
او گفت ایالات متحده جریان انتقال منابع مالی ایران به خارج از کشور را رصد میکند و تمامی مسیرهای مالی مرتبط با جمهوری اسلامی را هدف قرار خواهد داد.
بسنت همچنین افزود حمله ایران به کشورهای همسایه در خلیج فارس، باعث شده برخی دولتهای منطقه برای همکاری بیشتر در شناسایی و بررسی داراییهای مرتبط با ایران آمادگی نشان دهند.
