Donald Trump, the President of the United States, emphasized that Washington will not allow the Islamic Republic to acquire nuclear weapons. He stated that if Iran were to obtain such weapons, "all dangers would be insignificant in comparison," adding that Tehran would "undoubtedly use it" if it possessed nuclear weapons. Trump, referring to his conversation with Marco Rubio on this matter, reiterated the necessity of preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, saying, "We cannot allow such a thing to happen." The President of the United States also clarified that the recent incident would not deter him from "victory in the war with Iran."

دونالد ترامپ، رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا، تاکید کرد که واشینگتن اجازه نخواهد داد جمهوری اسلامی به سلاح هسته‌ای دست یابد.
او گفت در صورت دستیابی ایران به چنین سلاحی، «همه خطرها در مقایسه با آن ناچیز خواهد بود» و افزود تهران در صورت برخورداری از سلاح هسته‌ای «بدون تردید از آن استفاده خواهد کرد».
ترامپ با اشاره به گفت‌وگوی خود با مارکو روبیو درباره این موضوع، بار دیگر بر ضرورت جلوگیری از دستیابی ایران به سلاح هسته‌ای تاکید کرد و گفت: «ما نمی‌توانیم اجازه دهیم چنین چیزی رخ دهد.»
رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا همچنین تصریح کرد که حادثه اخیر، او را از «پیروزی در جنگ با ایران» باز نخواهد داشت.
