Abbas Araqchi, Iran's Foreign Minister, met with Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, in St. Petersburg. عباس عراقچی، وزیر خارجه ایران، در سنت‌ پترزبورگ با ولادیمیر پوتین، رئیس جمهور روسیه دیدار کرد.
به گزارش رسانه‌های دولتی روسیه، پوتین در این دیدار گفت که روسیه برای کمک به تضمین صلح در خاورمیانه از هیچ تلاشی دریغ نخواهد کرد.
رئیس‌جمهور روسیه خطاب به عراقچی گفت: «ما برای کمک به منافع شما و منافع مردم منطقهف هر کاری بتوانیم می‌کنیم تا هر چه سریعتر صلح برقرار شود.»
بر اساس این گزارش‌ها، عراقچی هم گفت که روابط ایران و روسیه «شراکتی استراتژیک» است که همچنان قویتر خواهد شد.
رئیس‌جمهور روسیه هم تاکید کرد که مسکو به «روابط استراتژیک» خود با ایران ادامه خواهد داد.
