On Monday, the White House spokesperson mentioned during a press briefing that Donald Trump had discussed a new proposal from the Iranian government with his national security advisors on the same day.

Caroline Levitt did not provide details on this matter and stated that if there is any new information, Trump will share it with everyone himself.

Earlier, it was reported that a security meeting regarding Iran was scheduled to take place at the White House on Monday morning local time.

At the same time, news emerged indicating that the Iranian government had presented a new plan for an agreement: reopening the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for the end of the blockade of Iranian ports by the U.S., and negotiating Iran's nuclear activities at a future date.

سخنگوی کاخ سفید روز دوشنبه در نشست خبری خود در پاسخ به سوالی اشاره کرد که دونالد ترامپ در همین روز با مشاورانش در حوزه امنیت ملی پیشنهاد تازه حکومت ایران را بررسی کرده است.

کارولین لِویت در این باره به جزئیات اشاره نکرد و گفت که اگر خبر تازه‌ای باشد، ترامپ خود آن را با همگان در میان خواهد گذاشت.

پیشتر خبری منتشر شده بود مبنی بر این که قرار است دوشنبه صبح به وقت محلی در کاخ سفید جلسه امنیتی درباره ایران برگزار شود.

همزمان خبری منتشر شده بود حاکی از این که حکومت ایران طرحی جدید را برای توافق ارائه کرده است: باز کردن تنگه هرمز در ازای پایان محاصره بنادر ایران توسط آمریکا، و مذاکره درباره فعالیت هسته‌ای ایران در تاریخی در آینده.
