"Three days have passed and no well has exploded. We can continue this for up to 30 days and even show a live broadcast of the well here.

This is the same kind of 'low-quality advice' that the U.S. government receives from people like Basant; those who simultaneously promote the theory of siege and have driven oil prices above $120; the next target: $140."

محمدباقر قالیباف، رئیس مجلس شورای اسلامی، در پیامی کنایه آمیز به اظهارات ترامپ که گفته بود خط لوله‌های نفت ایران به دلیل پر شدن مخازن نفت سه روز دیگر به نقطه انفجار می‌رسد، نوشت:

«سه روز گذشته و هیچ چاهی منفجر نشده است. می‌توانیم این را تا ۳۰ روز هم ادامه دهیم و حتی پخش زنده چاه را اینجا نشان دهیم.

این همان نوع «مشاوره‌های بی‌کیفیت» است که دولت آمریکا از افرادی مانند بسنت دریافت می‌کند؛ کسانی که همزمان نظریه محاصره را پیش می‌برند و قیمت نفت را به بیش از ۱۲۰ دلار رسانده‌اند؛ مقصد بعدی: ۱۴۰ دلار.»
