Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said on Thursday, April 29, 2026, at the White House: "The Iranian government is very eager to reach an agreement. I don't want to go into too much detail, but if that happens, they should not have nuclear weapons, believe it or not."

Trump, referring to the military capabilities of the Islamic Republic, added: "Their navy is gone, their air force is gone, and almost all of their equipment has been destroyed." He stated that about 82% of drone factories and nearly 90% of missile factories are out of operation, and many missiles have also been destroyed.

The President of the United States also discussed the B-2 bomber attack, saying: "If we didn't have that B-2 bomber and didn't take action, we wouldn't have completely destroyed their nuclear capability." He added that this action prevented the Islamic Republic from obtaining a nuclear bomb and that this attack should have happened years ago.

Trump pointed out the current leadership situation in the Islamic Republic, saying: "Their first-tier leaders are gone, their second-tier leaders are gone, and now we are dealing with third-tier leaders." He described the current state of the Islamic Republic as "very bad" and added that many leaders, along with the military, have been eliminated.

Regarding the negotiation process, he said: "No one except myself and a few others knows exactly what the negotiations are about." Trump emphasized that the Iranian government is very eager for an agreement, but he considered the lack of clarity in the leadership structure a problem.

The President of the United States also commented on the Iranian football team's presence in America and the statements of the FIFA president, saying: "Let them play well. Do whatever you want. They probably have a good team."

Trump stated: "If Iran has nuclear weapons and uses them, then the whole world will be completely different. Then the issue is not just paying a little more for gasoline. Gasoline and oil prices will drop rapidly as soon as the war ends."

Trump emphasized: "For this world, for our country, and certainly for Israel, the Middle East, and Europe, Iran cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons." He added that the U.S. military has severely weakened the Islamic Republic.

The President of the United States also said: "Iran has killed 42,000 people in the past two months—protesters. They killed that wrestler, and his teammates too. He was a world champion in wrestling, a great wrestler, with extraordinary talent. They killed him because he protested. He wasn't wrestling; he was speaking out against the government, and that's why they killed him. They executed him and his friends."

Regarding the officials of the Islamic Republic, he said: "These are a tough and ruthless group. But we have severely weakened them, and their economy is in a disastrous state. We will see how long they can last. We will see."

Trump added: "We can fly directly from the middle of Tehran without being shot at because they have no air defense. They have nothing. They are trying to figure out what is going on. But I am going to negotiate, and they are forcing you to negotiate from a position of weakness, not from a position of strength. But the difference is that it doesn't matter to me. And everyone knows the reality. We are destroying that country."

دونالد ترامپ، رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا، پنجشنبه ۱۰ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۵ در کاخ سفید گفت: «حکومت ایران خیلی مشتاق است که به یک توافق برسد. نمی‌خواهم زیاد وارد جزئیات شوم، اما اگر چنین اتفاقی بیفتد، آن‌ها نباید سلاح هسته‌ای داشته باشند، باور کنید یا نه.»

ترامپ با اشاره به توان نظامی جمهوری اسلامی افزود: «نیروی دریایی‌شان از بین رفته، نیروی هوایی‌شان از بین رفته و تقریبا هر نوع تجهیزاتشان نابود شده است.»
او گفت حدود ۸۲ درصد کارخانه‌های پهپاد و نزدیک به ۹۰ درصد کارخانه‌های موشکی از کار افتاده‌اند و بسیاری از موشک‌ها نیز از بین رفته است.

رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا همچنین درباره حمله با بمب‌افکن بی-۲ گفت: «اگر آن بمب‌افکن بی-۲ را نداشتیم و وارد عمل نمی‌شدیم، توان هسته‌ای آن‌ها را کاملا نابود نمی‌کردیم.»
او افزود این اقدام باعث شد جمهوری اسلامی به بمب هسته‌ای نرسد و این حمله باید سال‌ها پیش انجام می‌شد.

ترامپ با اشاره به وضعیت رهبری جمهوری اسلامی گفت: «رهبران رده اولشان رفته‌اند، رهبران رده دومشان هم رفته‌اند و حالا با رهبران رده سوم سروکار داریم.»
او وضعیت کنونی جمهوری اسلامی را «بسیار بد» توصیف کرد و افزود بسیاری از رهبران به‌همراه ارتش از بین رفته‌اند.

او درباره روند مذاکرات نیز گفت: «هیچ‌کس به‌جز خودم و چند نفر دیگر دقیقا نمی‌داند مذاکرات درباره چیست.»
ترامپ تاکید کرد حکومت ایران به‌شدت خواهان توافق است، اما مشخص نبودن ساختار رهبری را یک مشکل دانست.

رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا همچنین درباره حضور تیم فوتبال ایران در آمریکا و اظهارات رییس فیفا گفت: «بگذارید خوب بازی کنند. هر کاری می‌خواهید انجام دهید. احتمالا تیم خوبی هم دارند.»

ترامپ: گفت: «اگر ایران سلاح هسته‌ای داشته باشد و از آن استفاده کند، آن‌وقت کل دنیا کاملا متفاوت خواهد شد. آن‌وقت مسئله این نیست که فقط کمی بیشتر برای بنزین پول بدهید. قیمت بنزین و نفت به‌سرعت پایین می‌آید، به‌محض اینکه جنگ تمام شود.»

دونالد ترامپ، رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا، اعلام کرد ایران نباید به سلاح هسته‌ای دست یابد و ایالات متحده برای اقدام احتمالی نیازی به کمک دیگر کشورها ندارد.

او گفت از همان روز اول کار ایران «تمام شده بود» و در صورت لزوم، آمریکا کاملا آماده اقدام است.

ترامپ با انتقاد از برخی کشورهای اروپایی گفت: «ایتالیا هیچ کمکی به ما نکرده و اسپانیا هم کاملا افتضاح بوده.»

او افزود آمریکا در موضوع اوکراین به این کشورها کمک کرده، در حالی که به گفته او، اوکراین ارتباط مستقیمی با آمریکا ندارد.

رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا همچنین از آلمان انتقاد کرد و گفت این کشور با مشکلات مهاجرتی، انرژی و اوکراین روبه‌رو است.

او افزود یکی از مقام‌های آلمان از او بابت نحوه برخورد با ایران انتقاد کرده، اما در پاسخ به این پرسش که آیا ایران باید سلاح هسته‌ای داشته باشد، پاسخ منفی داده است.

رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا همچنین گفت: «ایران در دو ماه گذشته ۴۲ هزار نفر را کشته—معترضان. آن‌ها آن کشتی‌گیر را کشتند، هم‌تیمی‌هایش را هم کشتند. او یک قهرمان جهان در کشتی بود، کشتی‌گیر بزرگی بود، استعداد فوق‌العاده‌ای داشت. او را کشتند چون اعتراض کرده بود. او در حال کشتی گرفتن نبود، بلکه علیه حکومت صحبت کرده بود و به همین دلیل او را کشتند. او و دوستانش را اعدام کردند.»

او درباره مقامات جمهوری اسلامی گفت: «این‌ها گروه خشن و سختی هستند. اما ما آن‌ها را به‌شدت تضعیف کرده‌ایم و اقتصادشان در وضعیت فاجعه‌باری است. باید ببینیم تا چه زمانی دوام می‌آورند. خواهیم دید.»

ترامپ افزود: «ما می‌توانیم مستقیما از وسط تهران پرواز کنیم بدون اینکه به ما شلیک شود، چون آن‌ها پدافند هوایی ندارند. هیچ‌چیزی ندارند. سعی می‌کنند بفهمند چه خبر است. اما من قرار است مذاکره کنم، و آن‌ها دارند شما را از موضع ضعف مجبور به مذاکره می‌کنند، نه از موضع قدرت. اما تفاوت این است که برای من اهمیتی ندارد. و همه واقعیت‌ها را می‌دانند. ما داریم آن کشور را نابود می‌کنیم.»
