The permanent representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations responded in a letter to the Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council regarding the protest letter from six Arab countries about the attacks.

Qatar, the UAE, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia recently sent protest letters to the UN Security Council, accusing Iran of violating their territory and calling for condemnation of its attacks.

In his letter, the permanent representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations stated that these countries "have participated in the aggression against Iran by providing military bases on their territory from which fire and airstrikes against Iran have been launched."

Amir Saeed Iravani described Iran's attacks on regional countries as "a legitimate right of self-defense" and "a response to aggression," warning that countries he claims "have participated in the aggression against Iran or allowed the use of their bases, airspace, territorial waters, and land for attacks on Iran are responsible and must be held accountable."

نماینده دائم جمهوری اسلامی ایران در سازمان ملل متحد در نامه‌ای به دبیرکل و رئیس شورای امنیت این سازمان، به نامه اعتراضی‌ شش کشور عربی درباره حملات پاسخ داد.

قطر، امارات، اردن، بحرین، کویت و عربستان سعودی اخیرا در نامه‌های اعتراضی به شورای امنیت سازمان ملل متحد ضمن متهم کردن ایران به تجاوز به خاک خود خواستار محکومیت حملات این کشور شدند.

نماینده دائم جمهوری اسلامی ایران در سازمان ملل متحد، در نامه خود که در واکنش به این اقدام اعتراضی نوشته گفته است که این کشورها «با در اختیار گذاشتن پایگاه‌های نظامی مستقر در خاک خود که از آنجا آتش و حملات هوایی علیه ایران انجام شده، در تجاوز به ایران مشارکت داشته‌اند.»

امیر سعید ایروانی حملات ایران به کشورهای منطقه به را «حق مشروع دفاع از خود» و «پاسخ به تجاوز» خوانده و هشدار داده است که کشورهایی که به گفته او «در تجاوز به ایران مشارکت کرده‌اند یا اجازه استفاده از پایگاه‌ها، حریم هوایی، آب‌های سرزمینی و خاک خود را برای حمله به ایران داده‌اند، مسئول هستند و باید پاسخگو باشند.»
