Reuters, in an investigative report, has addressed the performance of the cryptocurrency exchange "Nobitex," which is the largest crypto platform in Iran. The report states that this exchange has become one of the key tools for circumventing international sanctions and is owned by the children of Mohammad Baqer Kharrazi.

On June 18, while the 12-day war between Israel and the Islamic Republic was ongoing, a group called "Predatory Sparrow," which is attributed to Israel, announced the hacking of the "Nobitex" exchange.

Prior to this, some customers of the exchange reported receiving messages on messaging apps like trading applications and Telegram, warning them to withdraw their assets from the Nobitex exchange.

According to Reuters, the company was founded in 2018 by two brothers, Ali and Mohammad Kharrazi, who belong to one of the most influential families in the Islamic Republic but have used the alternative surname "Aghamir" for their activities.

۲۸ خرداد، در حالی که جنگ ۱۲ روزه اسرائیل و جمهوری‌اسلامی در جریان بود، گروه «گنجشک‌ درنده» که به اسرائیل منسوب است، از هک صرافی «نوبیتکس» خبر داد.

پیش از آن، برخی مشتریان این صرافی گزارش کرده بودند پیام‌هایی در پیام‌رسان‌هایی مانند اپلیکیشن‌های معاملات و تلگرام دریافت کردند که در آن، به آنها هشدار داده شده بود دارایی خود را از صرافی نوبیتکس خارج کنند.

به‌نوشته رویترز، این شرکت در سال ۲۰۱۸ از سوی دو برادر، علی و محمد خرازی، تاسیس شد؛ افرادی که به یکی از بانفوذترین خانواده‌های جمهوری اسلامی تعلق دارند اما برای فعالیت‌های خود از نام خانوادگی جایگزین «آقامیر» استفاده کرده‌اند.
