The emirate of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates announced on Monday, April 3, that the "Fujairah Oil Industrial Zone" caught fire following what they described as a "drone attack originating from Iran."

Fujairah's media office stated in a statement that civil defense teams were immediately dispatched to control the fire. It has been reported that three Indian nationals sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Fujairah is home to a major port, pipeline, and other oil facilities of the United Arab Emirates, which can transport the country's oil to global markets without the need for the Strait of Hormuz. The UAE Ministry of Defense had previously stated in a message on X that the country intercepted three missiles launched by Iran over its territorial waters, and a fourth missile also fell into the sea.

مقامات امیرنشین فجیره در امارات متحده عربی روز دوشنبه ۱۴ اردیبهشت اعلام کردند «منطقهٔ صنعتی نفت فجیره»، پس از آنچه که «حملهٔ پهپادی با منشأ ایران» توصیف کردند، دچار آتش‌سوزی شده است.

دفتر رسانه‌ای فجیره در بیانیه‌ای اعلام کرد که تیم‌های دفاع مدنی بلافاصله برای مهار آتش اعزام شدند. گزارش شده که سه تبعهٔ هندی بر اثر این حمله دچار جراحات خفیف شده و به بیمارستان منتقل شده‌اند.

فجیره محل استقرار یک بندر مهم، خط لوله و دیگر تأسیسات نفتی امارات متحده عربی است که می‌تواند نفت این کشور را بدون نیاز به تنگه هرمز، به بازارهای جهانی برساند.
وزارت دفاع امارات متحده عربی پیشتر در پیامی در شبکهٔ ایکس گفته بود که این کشور سه موشک شلیک‌شده از سوی ایران را بر فراز آب‌های سرزمینی خود رهگیری کرده و موشک چهارم نیز در دریا سقوط کرده است.
