The United Arab Emirates has issued a new statement declaring that it holds Iran "fully responsible" for today's attacks.

The statement reads: "These attacks are a manifestation of dangerous escalation [of tensions] and an unacceptable violation," adding that these actions contradict the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter.

The UAE has also stated that it reserves "its full and legitimate right to respond to these attacks" in accordance with international law.

Iran's state television has reported, citing an unnamed senior military official, that "Iran has no plans to target the UAE."

The Tasnim news agency, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards, quoted a military source from the Islamic Republic stating that in the event of any "irrational" action by the United Arab Emirates, all of its interests would become targets for Iran.
This military source noted that so far, no "official threat" has been declared by Emirati officials, but if the UAE "becomes a pawn of Israel and makes a misstep, it will learn a lesson it will never forget."
He emphasized: "If the UAE takes any irrational action, all its interests will become targets for Iran, and no point of Emirati facilities will be safe."

امارات متحده عربی بیانیه جدیدی منتشر و در آن اعلام کرد که ایران را «به‌طور کامل مسئول» حملات امروز می‌داند.

در این بیانیه آمده است: «این حملات مصداق تشدید خطرناک [تنش] و تخطی غیرقابل‌قبول است» و افزوده که این اقدامات با اصول حقوق بین‌الملل و منشور ملل متحد تعارض دارد.

امارات همچنین اعلام کرده است که «حق کامل و مشروع خود برای پاسخ به این حملات» را مطابق با حقوق بین‌الملل محفوظ می‌داند.

تلویزیون دولتی ایران نیز به نقل از یک مقام ارشد نظامی که نامش ذکر نشده، گزارش داده است که «ایران برنامه‌ای برای هدف قرار دادن امارات نداشته است».

خبرگزاری تسنیم، وابسته به سپاه پاسداران، به نقل از یک منبع نظامی جمهوری اسلامی نوشت در صورت هرگونه اقدام «غیرعاقلانه» از سوی امارات متحده عربی، تمامی منافع این کشور به هدف ایران تبدیل خواهد شد.
این منبع نظامی با اشاره به گزارش‌های منتشرشده درباره مواضع امارات گفت تاکنون «تهدید رسمی» از سوی مقام‌های اماراتی اعلام نشده، اما اگر امارات «بازیچه اسراییل شود و دست از پا خطا کند، درسی خواهد گرفت که تا ابد فراموش نکند.»
او تاکید کرد: «در صورتی که امارات اقدام غیرعاقلانه‌ای انجام دهد، تمام منافعش به هدف ایران تبدیل می‌شود و هیچ نقطه‌ای از تاسیسات اماراتی در امان نخواهد بود.»
