The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates announced that the country's air defense systems intercepted 12 ballistic missiles, 3 cruise missiles, and 4 drones launched from Iran on May 4, 2026; attacks that resulted in 3 injuries.

In this statement, the "overt attacks by Iran" are referred to as the source of these conflicts, and it is noted that since the beginning of these attacks, a total of 549 ballistic missiles, 29 cruise missiles, and 2,260 drones have been intercepted by the UAE's air defense.

According to the UAE Ministry of Defense, the number of injured from these attacks has reached 227, including individuals of various nationalities such as Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepali, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian, Swedish, Tunisian, Moroccan, and Russian.

Meanwhile, the number of fatalities has reached 3, one of whom was a civilian of Moroccan nationality and a contractor with the armed forces. Additionally, the total number of civilian casualties has been reported as 10, comprising individuals of Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, Palestinian, Indian, and Egyptian nationalities.

The UAE Ministry of Defense emphasized that the country is fully prepared to confront any threats and will "firmly respond to any actions targeting the security of the nation"; actions that, according to this entity, are aimed at protecting sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as safeguarding national interests and capabilities.

وزارت دفاع امارات متحده عربی اعلام کرد سامانه‌های پدافند هوایی این کشور در تاریخ ۴ مه ۲۰۲۶، ۱۲ موشک بالستیک، ۳ موشک کروز و ۴ پهپاد را که از ایران شلیک شده بودند، رهگیری کرده‌اند؛ حملاتی که به زخمی شدن ۳ نفر انجامید.

در این بیانیه، از «حملات آشکار ایران» به‌عنوان منشأ این درگیری‌ها یاد شده و آمده است که از آغاز این حملات تاکنون، مجموعاً ۵۴۹ موشک بالستیک، ۲۹ موشک کروز و ۲۲۶۰ پهپاد توسط پدافند هوایی امارات رهگیری شده‌اند.

بر اساس اعلام وزارت دفاع امارات، شمار مجروحان این حملات به ۲۲۷ نفر رسیده که شامل افرادی با ملیت‌های مختلف از جمله اماراتی، مصری، سودانی، اتیوپیایی، فیلیپینی، پاکستانی، ایرانی، هندی، بنگلادشی، سریلانکایی، آذربایجانی، یمنی، اوگاندایی، اریتره‌ای، لبنانی، افغانستانی، بحرینی، کوموری، ترک، عراقی، نپالی، نیجریه‌ای، عمانی، اردنی، فلسطینی، غنایی، اندونزیایی، سوئدی، تونسی، مراکشی و روسی هستند.

در این میان، تعداد کشته‌شدگان به ۳ نفر رسیده که یکی از آن‌ها یک غیرنظامی با تابعیت مراکشی و طرف قرارداد با نیروهای مسلح بوده است. همچنین شمار کل قربانیان غیرنظامی ۱۰ نفر اعلام شده که از ملیت‌های پاکستانی، نپالی، بنگلادشی، فلسطینی، هندی و مصری هستند.

وزارت دفاع امارات در پایان تاکید کرد این کشور در آمادگی کامل برای مقابله با هرگونه تهدید قرار دارد و «با قاطعیت با هر اقدامی که امنیت کشور را هدف قرار دهد برخورد خواهد کرد»؛ اقدامی که به گفته این نهاد، در راستای حفاظت از حاکمیت، امنیت و ثبات و همچنین صیانت از منافع و توانمندی‌های ملی انجام می‌شود.
