The Navy Command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned again on Tuesday, May 4, to all vessels intending to transit through the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the only safe route for passage is the corridor previously announced by the Islamic Republic.

According to this warning, "diverting vessels to other routes is unsafe and will face a decisive response from the Navy of the IRGC."

The IRGC's threat comes after the United States began the "Freedom Project" on Monday for the passage of ships and vessels belonging to neutral countries through the Strait of Hormuz.

These ships have been stranded in the Persian Gulf for over two months due to the war between the U.S. and Israel against Iran and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz by the IRGC.

فرماندهی نیروی دریایی سپاه پاسداران روز سه‌شنبه ۱۵ اردیبهشت بار دیگر به تمام شناورهایی که قصد تردد از تنگهٔ هرمز را دارند، هشدار داد و گفت تنها مسیر ایمن برای عبور از تنگه، کریدوری است که قبلا از طرف جمهوری‌ اسلامی اعلام شده است.

بر اساس این هشدار، «انحراف شناورها به سایر مسیرها، غیر ایمن بوده و با برخورد قاطع نیروی دریایی سپاه روبرو خواهد شد».

تهدید سپاه پس از آن صورت ‌می‌گیرد که ایالات متحده از روز دوشنبه «پروژه آزادی» را برای عبور کشتی‌ها و شناورهای متعلق به کشورهای بی‌طرف از تنگهٔ هرمز آغاز کرده است.

این کشتی‌ها بیش از دو ماه است که به‌دلیل جنگ آمریکا و اسرائیل با ایران و بسته شدن تنگهٔ هرمز از سوی سپاه پاسداران، در خلیج فارس گیر افتاده‌اند.
