According to the announcement from the Seismology Center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, an earthquake measuring 5 occurred at 5 AM on Wednesday, May 16, at a depth of 9 kilometers in Gilan-e Gharb, Kermanshah.
According to this report, the earthquake was recorded at 00:23:21 with a latitude of 34.19 degrees north and a longitude of 45.68 degrees east.

براساس اعلام مرکز لرزهنگاری موسسه ژئوفیزیک دانشگاه تهران، زمینلرزهای به بزرگی ۵ بامداد چهارشنبه، ۱۶ اردیبهشتماه، در عمق ۹ کیلومتری گیلانغرب کرمانشاه رخ داد.
براساس این گزارش، این زمینلرزه در ساعت ۰۰:۲۳:۲۱ و در موقعیت عرض شمالی ۳۴.۱۹ درجه و طول شرقی ۴۵.۶۸ درجه ثبت شده است.
