Following reports about an imminent agreement between the U.S. and Iran to end the war, the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that Tehran is still reviewing the U.S. proposal.

Ismail Baqai told the ISNA news agency on Wednesday: "The U.S. plan and proposal are still under review by Iran, and Iran will convey its viewpoints to the Pakistani side after concluding its assessment."

At the same time, the Tasnim news agency, close to the Revolutionary Guards, reported, citing an "informed source," that the latest U.S. proposal "contains some unacceptable clauses," and Iran has not yet responded to it.

The Fars news agency, another outlet close to the Revolutionary Guards, also claimed that "no new written message has been exchanged between Iran and the U.S." and dismissed media reports about the proximity of an agreement.

In recent hours, Axios and Reuters announced that Iran and the U.S. are close to an agreement on a one-page memorandum to end the recent war.

Fars stated that these reports were published to "influence global markets, especially to reduce oil prices."

در پی انتشار گزارش‌هایی درباره قریب‌الوقوع بودن توافق میان آمریکا و ایران برای پایان دادن به جنگ، سخنگوی وزارت خارجه جمهوری اسلامی گفت که تهران هنوز در حال بررسی پیشنهاد آمریکا است.

اسماعیل بقائی روز چهارشنبه به خبرگزاری ایسنا گفت: «طرح و پیشنهاد آمریکا از سوی ایران همچنان در حال بررسی است و ایران پس از جمع‌بندی نقطه نظرات خود را به طرف پاکستانی منتقل می‌کند.»

همزمان خبرگزاری تسنیم، نزدیک به سپاه پاسداران، به نقل از یک «منبع مطلع» نوشت که آخرین پیشنهاد آمریکا «حاوی برخی بندهای غیرقابل قبول» است و ایران هنوز به آن پاسخ نداده است.

خبرگزاری فارس، دیگر رسانه نزدیک به سپاه، نیز مدعی شد که «هیچ پیام مکتوب جدیدی میان ایران و آمریکا ردوبدل نشده» و گزارش‌های رسانه‌ای درباره نزدیک بودن تفاهم را رد کرد.

در ساعات گذشته وب‌سایت اکسیوس و خبرگزاری رویترز اعلام کردند که ایران و آمریکا به توافق با ایران بر سر یک یادداشت تفاهم یک‌صفحه‌ای برای پایان جنگ اخیر نزدیک شده‌اند.

فارس می‌گوید این گزارش‌ها برای «تأثیرگذاری بر بازارهای جهانی، به‌ویژه کاهش قیمت نفت» منتشر شده‌اند.
