CENTCOM has announced in a statement that U.S. forces in the Sea of Oman "as part of enforcing the blockade," disabled an empty oil tanker flying the Iranian flag that was heading towards one of Iran's ports. CENTCOM stated that prior to this action, several warnings were issued to the tanker, but the crew did not comply with the orders. It further mentioned that U.S. forces disabled the tanker’s rudder by firing several rounds from the 20mm cannon of an F/A-18 Super Hornet.

I think Trump set a law that there shouldn't be more spending on maritime blockade beyond a certain limit. The previous tanker was stopped with a destroyer's cannon, and this one was hit on its rudder with an F-18 machine gun.

سنتکام در بیانیه‌ای اعلام کرده نیروهای آمریکایی در دریای عمان «در چارچوب اجرای محاصره»، یک نفتکش خالی با پرچم ایران را که در حال حرکت به سمت یکی از بنادر ایران بود، از کار انداختند.
سنتکام اعلام کرد پیش از این اقدام، چندین هشدار به این نفتکش داده شده، اما خدمه از دستورات تبعیت نکرده‌اند.
در ادامه آمده است که نیروهای آمریکایی با شلیک چند گلوله از توپ ۲۰ میلی‌متری یک جنگنده اف/ای-۱۸ سوپر هورنت سکان نفتکش را از کار انداختند.

فکر کنم ترامپ قانون گذاشته از یه حدی بیشتر نباید خرج محاصره دریایی بشه. نفتکش قبلی را با توپ ناوشکن متوقف کردند این یکی را با تیربار اف-۱۸ زدند به سکانش.
