Fars News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported in an exclusive news piece that the sounds of explosions heard on Thursday night, May 6, near Bandar Abbas, were related to "exchange of fire" between the armed forces of the Islamic Republic and the United States. According to Fars, during this exchange of fire, parts of the Bahman pier on Qeshm Island were targeted.

خبرگزاری فارس، وابسته به سپاه پاسداران، در خبری اختصاصی اعلام کرد که صداهای انفجار که پنجشنبه‌شب، ۱۷ اردیبهشت در حوالی بندرعباس شنیده شد، مربوط به «تبادل آتش» میان نیروهای مسلح جمهوری اسلامی و ایالات متحده بوده است.
به گفته فارس، در جریان این تبادل آتش، بخش‌هایی از اسکله بهمن در جزیره قشم هدف قرار گرفته است.
