Hosseini, the head of meetings at Ali Khamenei's office, said at a government night gathering that Mojtaba Khamenei was injured in the knee, back, and behind the ear during the bombing of the residence of Ali Khamenei, the deceased leader of the Islamic Republic.
Hosseini stated: "When I was in the office, a bomb fell 30 meters away from us, which killed Shirazi [the head of Ali Khamenei's military office] and his friends. They hit Ali Khamenei's place 70 to 80 meters away from us, where that incident occurred."
He added: "Mojtaba Khamenei's house was hit, and his wife was killed. On his way back, as he was going up the stairs, a missile hit there, and Mrs. Hadad [Mojtaba Khamenei's wife] was killed. Mojtaba Khamenei was hit by the shockwave [of the explosion] and fell to the ground."
The head of meetings at the office of the former leader of the Islamic Republic spoke about the injuries sustained by Mojtaba Khamenei, saying: "A little bit of his kneecap is damaged and a little bit of his back. His back has healed during this time, and his kneecap will be fine soon, and he is in complete health."
Hosseini said: "One of our dear ones met with him last week, and the forehead issue that has been mentioned is nonsense. He has a small bruise behind his ear, which is also behind the turban and is not noticeable at all."

مظاهر حسینی، مسئول دیدارهای دفتر علی خامنهای، در تجمع شبانه حکومتی، گفت که مجتبی خامنهای در جریان بمباران بیت علی خامنهای، رهبر کشتهشده جمهوری اسلامی، از ناحیه زانو، کمر و پشت گوش آسیب دیده است.
حسینی گفت: «زمانی که در دفتر بودم، در ۳۰ متری ما بمب خورد که شیرازی [رییس دفتر نظامی علی خامنهای] و دوستانشان پرپر شدند. ۷۰، ۸۰ متری ما جایگاه کار علی خامنهای را زدند که آن اتفاق افتاد.»
او افزود: «منزل مجتبی خامنهای را زدند که همسرش کشته شد. مجتبی خامنهای در بین راه که آمد در پلهها که برود بالا، موشک آنجا خورد و خانم حداد [همسر مجتبی خامنهای] کشته شد. مجتبی خامنهای در بین راه ضربه موج [انفجار] خورده و روی زمین افتاده است.»
مسئول دیدارهای دفتر رهبر پیشین جمهوری اسلامی، درباره آسیبهای وارد شده به مجتبی خامنهای گفت: «یک خرده کشکک پایش صدمه دیده و یک خرده کمرش. کمرش در این ایام درست شد و کشکک پایش به زودی خوب میشود و در سلامتی کامل است.»
حسینی گفت: «یکی از عزیزان در هفته پیش با او دیدار داشت، آن بحث پیشانی که گفتهاند بیخود است. یک ترک کوچک پشت گوشش خورده که آن هم پشت عمامه است و اصلا مشخص نیست.»
