The press conference of government spokesperson Masoud Bezhakian on Tuesday, May 22, turned into a heated exchange between journalists and Fatemeh Mohajerani due to the internet situation. The government spokesperson emphasized that "Internet Pro" is being utilized under the approval of the Supreme National Security Council, which is chaired by Masoud Bezhakian. Fatemeh Mohajerani stated that given the wartime situation, public internet will not be connected for now. In response to numerous journalists' questions about the internet situation, especially "Internet Pro," she said, "We are in a wartime situation. After these remarks, several journalists attempted to remind the government of its commitments regarding the internet connection. Mohajerani addressed them, saying, "When the President of the United States says that the ceasefire is connected to artificial respiration, what do you expect?"

Fatemeh Mohajerani, spokesperson for the Islamic Republic government, referring to the prolonged internet outage in Iran, said that internet is the right of the people and their anger is completely justified. However, she continued to emphasize: "The cause of this anger is the enemies who disrupt our security environment." She added: "Media should help establish this discourse. The government supports free access."

نشست خبری سخنگوی دولت مسعود پزشکیان روز سه‌شنبه ۲۲ اردیبهشت به دلیل وضعیت اینترنت به بگومگوی خبرنگاران با فاطمه مهاجرانی منجر شد.
سخنگوی دولت تاکید کرد که «اینترنت پرو» با مصوبه شورای عالی امنیت ملی که ریاست آن را مسعود پزشکیان بر عهده دارد،‌ مورد استفاده قرار می‌گیرد.
او در عین حال تاکید کرد که این اینترنت ویژه کسب و کارها است. [در حالیکه خیلی از مردم بدون کسب و کار هم پیامک گرفتند بیاید پرو بخرید]

فاطمه مهاجرانی گفت با توجه به وضعیت جنگی، فعلا اینترنت عمومی وصل نخواهد شد.
مهاجرانی در پاسخ به پرسش‌های متعدد خبرنگاران درباره وضعیت اینترنت و به‌ویژه «اینترنت پرو» گفت ما در وضعیت جنگی هستیم. رئیس جمهوری به‌عنوان رئیس شورای عالی امنیت ملی پیگیر حقوق مردم است اما وضعیت جنگی است و بعد از پایان شرایط ویژه، اینترنت به‌حالت قبل بازخواهد گشت.»
پس از این سخنان، چند خبرنگار تلاش کردند تا با یادآوری تعهدات دولت پیگیر وضعیت وصل اینترنت شوند. مهاجرانی خطاب به آن‌ها گفت: «وقتی رئیس جمهوری آمریکا می‌گوید آتش‌بس به تنفس مصنوعی وصل است، انتظار شما چیست؟»

فاطمه مهاجرانی، سخنگوی دولت جمهوری اسلامی، با اشاره به قطعی طولانی‌مدت اینترنت در ایران گفت اینترنت حق مردم است و عصبانیت مردم کاملا درست است. اما در ادامه تاکید کرد: «عامل این عصبانیت دشمنانی هستند که باعث می‌شوند فضای امنیتی ما مخدوش شود.»
او افزود: «رسانه‌ها کمک کنند که این ادبیات را جا بیندازند. دولت طرفدار دسترسی آزاد است.»
